Medical plane equipped to return the Egyptian youth team from Tunisia

The Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports announced today, Saturday, that a medical plane will be sent equipped to return the Pharaohs' youth team from Tunisia, which was participating in the North African tournament.

Egyptian Minister of Sports Ashraf Sobhi said in an official statement that he had coordinated with pilot Mohamed Manar, Minister of Civil Aviation in his country, to send a medically equipped private plane to bring the Egyptian youth team back from Tunisia to Cairo, in light of the coordination that took place with the Egyptian Football Association.

He added that he had contacted and coordinated with various concerned authorities, whether in Egypt or with the Tunisian side, to ensure that all capabilities and supplies for the mission's integrated health care, medical analyzes and swabs were provided, indicating that, until the arrival of the private plane to Tunisia to return the Egyptian team, he is closely following developments The health status of the mission.

He explained that coordination has also been made with the Egyptian Ministry of Health to provide all capabilities and health care for the players upon their arrival in Cairo.

  It is noteworthy that the Egyptian national team coach Rabie Yassin and 16 Egyptian players were infected with the Corona virus in the first days of the team’s presence in Tunisia, and their matches with Libya and Tunisia were canceled.
