The Australian Open, one of the four major tennis tournaments, will be held from February next year, with the opening delayed by about three weeks due to the effects of the new coronavirus.

The Association of Tennis Professionals, ATP, which runs men's tennis tours, announced the schedule for next year's tour tournament on the 16th.



According to this, the Australian Open, which will be the first match of the season of the four major tournaments, was scheduled to start in mid-January next year due to the continuing spread of the new coronavirus, but it will be delayed by about three weeks.



The new tournament schedule is from February 8th to 21st.
