In an interview with NRK at the end of November, Therese Johaug said that she would like to see Marit Björgen take one of four places in the Norwegian relay team at the World Cup in March next year.

- Marit Björgen in shape, who does not want to be with her ?, Therese Johaug said then.

In the same interview, however, Björgen commented that she is not interested in a national team comeback.

Björgen ended his career in 2018 but chose this spring to make a comeback with an investment in long distance running, and above all the Vasaloppet.

Swedish duo biggest threats

Two weeks after Johaug's request, Björgen counters.

The 40-year-old suggests that Johaug has pieces to work on to reach her level - and hopes to see her in the Vasaloppet.

- I'll give her a cock.

In terms of stature, she has a little left.

Now I'm a little devilish with her so that she's going to compete in the Vasaloppet.

She can come directly from the WC in Oberstdorf to Vasaloppet to try to beat me, says Björgen.

The Vasaloppet 2021 will be run on March 7 for elite skiers.

Björgen holds a Swedish duo as two of its biggest competitors.

- I do not know if I have anything to oppose Britta Johansson Norgren and Lina Korsgren.

They are really fast and have been investing for a long time.

But I will do the best I can.
