Milan lead the league by three points ahead of rivals Inter Milan and four points ahead of Juventus, aspiring to win their tenth successive title in the competition.

Although he celebrated his 39th birthday in October, Ibrahimovic tops the league scorers 'ranking this season alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and helped his team avoid defeat to lead fans' dreams to restore Milan's glories after stumbling in recent years.

"The team must have the courage to dream of winning the league title," Ibrahimovic said at a party in the Gazeta newspaper after winning the Legend Award.

"The season is long and I hope to continue this approach. We are hungry and we have the desire to achieve more," he added.

Ibrahimovic has been out of Milan's squad since he scored twice in the 3-1 victory over Napoli on November 22, but the Swedish player said he was working hard to return to the stadium.
