The coach's agent, Omani Abdulaziz Al-Zaabi, revealed that he will file a complaint with the International Football Association (FIFA) against Colombian coach Jorge Luis Pinto for refusing to pay financial dues owed by him in return for his contract with the Emirates national team.

Al-Zaabi told "Emirates Today" that he was approved as an official agent for coach Pinto in the Gulf region, and he facilitated the task of his contract with the Emirates Federation, before his contract was finally terminated by mutual consent, and his departure from the team leadership after a short period he spent with Al-Abyad. Dutchman Bert Van Marwijk was appointed as a substitute a few days ago, and "Emirates Today" was not able to obtain a response from coach Pinto, about these allegations.

In detail, Al-Zaabi said that he had received an offer from a marketing company in Europe, to search for a job opportunity for the Colombian coach, in one of the Gulf countries, and this was last April.

Adding: “I asked the European company to send the trainer a mandate in this sense, in a way that preserves my moral and material rights as an agent for this trainer's work in the Gulf region. Indeed, I received an official mandate in this sense, and from here I began working seriously to search for a training opportunity for Pinto, here in our Gulf region. ».

He pointed out: “At this time, the UAE Federation was looking for a coach for the national team, a substitute for the Serbian Jovan Jovanovic, and I contacted the Vice President of the Federation, Yusuf Hussain via WhatsApp, and he asked me to send the CV of the Colombian coach to study, which is what actually happened from side".

Al-Zaabi added: “I surrounded the trainer with all the details that took place between me and Youssef Hussein, and there were communications and correspondences that had already taken place between us in Spanish about the desire of the UAE federation to contract with him, until I was surprised after that that the deal with Bento had already taken place at the end of last June. Without my knowledge ».

He added, "I contacted the coach again to preserve my material rights in the deal, but he disavowed this matter in a strange way," stressing that "the deal was made through his business agent."

He pointed out: “I requested the intervention of the UAE Federation to end the matter amicably, because the coach was not subject to suspension by the FIFA, because the regulations and papers prove my eligibility to obtain a percentage of the contract signed between the two parties, and they have already promised me to resolve this issue in an amicable manner, but the matter did not. It is as agreed upon ».

Al-Zaabi stressed that after Pinto's dismissal, it became possible for me to sue the Colombian coach with the International Federation and international sports bodies, as they kept this right during the coach's stay with the UAE federation, so that the white would not be affected by any consequences of the decision that would be issued against him.

He said, "A lawyer specializing in these cases began to file a formal complaint against the coach with (FIFA), supported by the authorization document, and the official correspondences that were made with him, and with the UAE Federation, to facilitate the completion of the deal, and I am confident that there will be a judgment issued in my favor in this regard."

Regarding the financial value owed to him in Pinto's contract with the UAE federation, Al-Zaabi said: “I will not talk about this aspect now, but it can be described as a good amount.

The Football Association signed a contract with Pinto, who is 67, last July, on a two-season contract, as a substitute for Serbian Jovan Jovanovic, and many hopes began for him to lead the "white" to qualify in the Asian qualifiers, in Group Seven, in which he ranks fourth with a score of six Points, the sum of two wins and two losses.

However, the appearance of the UAE national team at a modest level during its three friendly matches, which it fought under the leadership of the Colombian coach, prompted the Football Association to terminate its contract with him.
