21-year-old Maja Stark finished by going three over par and finished in a total of five over in the women's US Open at Champions Golf Club in Houston, Texas.

Stark finished as a split second of the amateurs and in a split thirteenth place in the US Open competition.

- I did not make such big mistakes.

You can easily lose yourself but I did not make any major mistakes all week and I am very happy with that, says Stark to SVT Sport and continues.

"My best competition ever"

- I would say that this was my best competition ever.

I still feel like I have more to give and I have a better game in me.

But to keep it all four days, I've never done that before.

This was the best I have achieved if you think about the whole.

Today, Maja Stark goes to college in Oklahoma - but by the fall, she's done with both college and amateur games.

- My plan is to qualify for the LPGA or for the Symetra tour next fall and then there is no more college after that.

US Open debutant Kim A Lim won

Won the women's US Open at Champions Golf Club in Houston, Texas, did South Korean Kim A Lim, who is ranked first in 94th place in the world and is a US Open debutant.

A Lim impressed on the final round and went the 18 holes on 67 strokes, four under par, which made her finish on a total of three during over four rounds.

She won by one stroke ahead of compatriot Ko Jin-young and American home jumper Amy Olson.

The latter clearly played the competition despite the fact that her father-in-law died during the weekend.

After Olson punched in on Monday, when the competition was decided due to Sunday's bad weather and advanced round, she was clearly moved.
