After Kylian Heyes on Saturday, it was the turn of young Frenchman Theo Maledon to make his NBA debut in the preseason game between his new franchise, the Oklahoma Thunder, and the San Antonio Spurs.

And the least we can say is that the former Asvel made a sensational entry into the great world of US basketball.

The 19-year-old French leader, drafted in 34th position by Philadelphia, who immediately sent him to OKC, scored 11 points on Saturday in his first 11 minutes of play for the Thunder in the Thunder's 121-108 victory against to Spurs, for a total of 20 points on arrival.

💥 20 points (best OKC score), 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 fouls provoked in 29 minutes: a perfectly successful start for Théo #Maledon in the United States, during Oklahoma's victory against Spurs (121-108 ) in preseason.

Too bad, the Thunder does not scare anyone (or almost)

"The simple fact of being able to be back on the field with my teammates and to find the competition was really a blessing, and I really appreciated", delivered the rookie, passed by Villeurbanne.

Bluffing serenity for his first NBA debut, Théo Maledon already seems like a fish in the water at the Thunder.

And if his team is clearly not called to play the beautiful roles this season, we will closely follow that of his new number 11.
