In second place was Takeru Kitazono, an 18-year-old third-year high school student, who scored high on vaults and horizontal bars and moved up from 7th place in qualifying.



In 3rd place, Sho Tanigawa, who was aiming for the third straight victory, and Wataru Tanigawa, his older brother, came in with the same score.
