Max Verstappen set the fastest time by far on Saturday in the third and final practice for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The Red Bull Racing driver was considerably faster than his competitors.
On the soft tire, Verstappen drove his best lap in 1.36.251.
He had held the fastest time for a while at that point.
Places two and three were for his teammate Alexander Albon (1.36.752) and Daniel Ricciardo from Renault (1.36.877).
It was striking that Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas had to do with the sixth and ninth time in the last practice of 2020.
They both stayed just above 1.37 with times of 1.37.012 and 1.37.085.
It is the fourth weekend in a row that Verstappen leads the list in the final practice.
He previously did this for the Grands Prix of Turkey, Bahrain and Sakhir.
Only at the GP Bahrain he finally finished on the podium (second).
Verstappen was also the fastest at the first practice in Abu Dhabi on Friday.
Later that day he had to tolerate both Mercedes in front of him during the second practice session.
Later on Saturday, at 2 p.m., qualifying is scheduled at the Yas Marina Circuit.
The last Grand Prix of the season starts on Sunday at 2.10 p.m.
