Among them, it was reported that the international athletics organization = World Athletics Federations officially certified the marathon and racewalking course of the Tokyo Olympics scheduled to be held in Sapporo city in early August next year.



Each course was announced at a press conference after the meeting, the marathon started on the north side of Odori Nishi 4-chome, the first 20 km goes around the city center, and the latter 20 km is 10 km north. After two laps of the course, we will finish at Odori Nishi 3-chome Ekimae-dori.

The racewalk starts and finishes on Odori Nishi 3-chome Ekimae-dori, where 50km goes 25 laps on a north-south 2km course and 20km goes on 20 laps on a north-south 1km course.



In addition, as test events, it was decided to hold a half marathon in which about 80 men and women runners from Japan and overseas will participate, and a 10-kilometer marathon in which about 2,500 ordinary citizens will participate, on May 5, next year. is.
