According to the President of the FFKKR Alexander Gorshkov, the federation has already discussed alternative options for holding alternative competitions and now, after the cancellation of the European Championship, their practical study has begun.
“In this situation, the FFKKR, for its part, will try to do everything possible to keep the athletes of the necessary motivation and systematic preparation for the main start of the season - the World Championship,” added the head of the FFKKR.
The European Championship was to be held in Zagreb from 25 to 31 January 2021.
Earlier, Olympic figure skating champion Natalya Bestemyanova commented on the cancellation of the 2021 European Championship.
