Later, the details of the incident became known.

According to media reports, Kolzescu told the chief referee Ovidiu Hatsegan the following: “The black guy is there, on the bench.

The arbiter explained that the word “Negru” is translated from Romanian as “black”, and stressed that he is not a racist.
