The IOC = International Olympic Committee has announced that as part of its measures against infection at the Tokyo Olympics, athletes will enter the Olympic Village five days before the start of the competition and will move out within two days after the competition ends.

The IOC will hold an online board meeting on the 7th, and the organizing committee of the Tokyo Games will make an interim report on measures against the new coronavirus, such as the response when athletes enter the country. Chairman Bach, who had a press conference after the board of directors, said, "We welcome further measures to hold the Games," and after evaluating the efforts of the Organizing Committee, as part of the infection control measures at the Tokyo Games, the Olympic Village as an IOC. Clarified that we will create guidelines for entering and exiting.



Specifically, we have stated that all athletes will be allowed to enter the Olympic Village from 5 days before the start of the competition, and that they will move out within 2 days after the end of the competition.



Regarding the spectators of the tournament, Chairman Bach said, "We will decide next spring based on the development status of the new coronavirus vaccine, such as the capacity and acceptance of spectators from abroad."



On the other hand, regarding the issue of political interference such as the players who criticized President Lukashenko, who is the chairman of the National Olympic Committee in Belarus, not being able to participate in the tournament, if any player meets the conditions, he will qualify for the Tokyo tournament I decided to support him so that he could participate.
