The Japan Championships for Swimming are being held from the 3rd of this month at the Tokyo Aquatics Center in Koto-ku, Tokyo, which will be the venue for the Tokyo Olympics next year, and on the 6th, the final day of the meeting, the 10th final will be held for both men and women.



Of these, the men's 200-meter breaststroke, which is said to be a Japanese specialty, is Ippei Watanabe, who holds the Japanese record for this event, Yasuhiro Koseki, who holds the Japanese record for the 100-meter breaststroke, and the time has increased at once in the past year. It is expected that there will be fierce competition with talented players such as Shouma Sato, a second-year college student.



In the men's 100-meter breaststroke held on the first day of the tournament, Sato marked the time approaching his personal best and won the tournament for the first time.
