Skellefteå had a hard time closing the match at home against Brynäs.

SAIK had the lead with 1-0, 3-2 later also 4-2 as late as seven minutes into the third period.

But a crisis-ridden Brynäs did not give up and fought his way back into the match several times in an impressive way.

When Skellefteå at the position 4-4 seven minutes from the end made 5-4, three points still seemed to stay in Skellefteå.

But Gävlelaget had another forcing in themselves and Noel Gunler, formerly in Luleå, equalized with his first Brynäs goal.

"Not happy with the effort"

In the long run, however, it was Skellefteå who could finally step off the ice with the victory.

This when the goal shooter Jesper Frödén walled in 5-4 via the back of goalkeeper Samuel Ersson.

- That was not lucky, I aimed there, Frödén says to C More after the decision.

The team effort itself, Frödén was not very happy with despite two points.

- A swinging match.

Maybe fun to watch with many goals but I'm not happy with the effort.

We do not follow our basics in the game, we need to improve.

We are not making a great match today.

The loss means that Brynäs has lost ten of its last eleven matches.

Skellefteå in turn had its losing streak to stay at two matches.
