After missing several weeks in a row, table runner-up Degerfors had one last chance to secure promotion to the Allsvenskan, away against Ljungskile at Bravida arena.
And despite Ljungskile starting best, the score was 1-0 at the break.
Two minutes before half time, Johan Bertilsson pushed in the lead goal for the guests after rounding the home goalkeeper Robin Wallinder, got out of position but still managed to put the ball in the open goal.
- Incredibly important, of course, said the goal scorer in Dplay during the break.
- That was probably seen in the joy.

Offside goals
Earlier in the first half, teammate Sebastian Ohlsson had a ball in the net in the 27th minute, but the goal was waved off for offside.
Otherwise, it was a lot of Ljungskile in the first half, especially in terms of chances.

With 63 minutes played, Degerfors's Villiam Dahlström almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net.
13 minutes later, Ljungskile had a shot in the crossbar.
But the home team never got closer.
Instead, Degerfors extended to 3-0 with five minutes left through Victor Edvardsen and after the final signal, wild joy erupted.

- Right now it's just spinning in my head.
I had to work a little in some situations, but I think we make a good match as a whole, says goalkeeper Ismael Diawara.

Degerfors has made 29 Allsvenskan seasons, most recently in 1997.
