Grosjean was quick to post a greeting from the hospital on social media where he thanked for all the efforts made to save his life.
The hands were tightly bandaged after the burns, which were not so serious.

Grosjean was in the burning inferno for almost 30 seconds but had enough presence of mind to find a way out of a near death situation.
"Do not know if the word miracle exists"
- I do not know if the word miracle exists or if it can be used but it was not my turn.
It felt like much longer than 28 seconds.
I saw how my visor turned completely orange, all the flames that appeared on the left side of the car, says Grosjean.
- I thought about a lot of things, not least Niki Lauda and I did not think it was possible to happen something similar, not in these times.
I could not end my career in F1 that way, says Grosjean.
Despite the extensive crash, Grosjean suffered only minor burns on the top of his hands and has a hope of running the season finale in Abu Dhabi on December 13.
- I feel good considering the circumstances surrounding the accident and can move my hands in a good way.
I'm happy to have made it through life but need to get back on track, preferably to Abu Dhabi, Grosjean thinks.
