SBS report revealed that Dae-ho Lee, the highest salary of professional baseball and the president of the Players Association, doubled his association's boarding cost. It seems difficult to avoid pointing out that it is inappropriate behavior as a chairman who should take the lead for the rights and interests of players.

This is the exclusive report by reporter Lee Seong-hoon.

Dae-ho Lee took office as the president of the Athletes Association in March of last year, and then doubled the boarding fee for the chairman from 30 million won to 60 million won per year.

Athletes Association Fees are raised by all players including the lowest-paid players earning 1% of their annual salary, and 60 million won is equivalent to twice the minimum annual salary.

This money was deposited into Lee Dae-ho's personal account, and the usage is unknown because it is not obligatory to submit evidence.

Lee Dae-ho said that it was used for the public interest in SBS's inquiry about where to use it.

However, as the highest annual salary of 2.5 billion won, and as the chairman's actions to protect players in harsh environments, it seems inappropriate.

Meanwhile, the association's secretary general Tae-Hyun Kim was paid a monthly sales fee of 2.5 million won in cash and used it without supporting evidence.

When the coverage began, President Kim admitted my fault in the position that'it was a mistake that originated from ignorance, and if personal use was found, I will restore it to its original state'.

Chairman Lee Dae-ho and President Kim recently expressed their appreciation.
