It was a revenge-hungry Sweden that stepped on the field in Trollhättan again.

The same plan where they lost to Hungary with an odd goal on Saturday.

But this match would end differently.

Jessica Ryde became an early hero when she picked up two early penalties from Hungary and Sweden got extra wind in the sails when they followed up with their own penalty goal.

In the middle of the first half, Sweden's advantage continued, from 6-2 to 9-5, a grip on the lead that was missing during the last meeting.

But completely they could not relax.

Hungary keyed in on them and at half time the result is 12-11.

"A great feeling before the championship"

In the second half, Sweden expanded its lead at the same time as Hungary seemed to lose their own game.

The pieces of the puzzle fell into place for the Swedes, a long-awaited feeling just four days before the European Championships and a victory called 31-25.

- It is of course very important and a good feeling before the championship now and get it to match the defensive game as we had a little problem with the last match, says Carin Strömberg.
