Swedish MMA jumper Jack Hermansson will go to a match at a gala in Las Vegas on the 5th of December.

But the opponent, unranked Kevin Holland, has now tested positive for covid-19 and can not face the Swede, writes ESPN.

To declined earlier

This is the second time that Hermansson's opponents are forced to cancel.

At the beginning of November, the then intended opponent Darren Till had to turn down the fight due to an injury.

A victory for the fourth-ranked Swede against the sixth-ranked Darren Till could have opened the way for a title match.

According to sources to ESPN, Hermansson will now face thirteen-ranked Marvin Vettori who has won his last three matches.

However, Vettori is booked for a match against Jacare Souza the weekend after.
