At Willem II, a player and staff member were tested positive for the corona virus.

So they are missing in the away match against FC Groningen on Sunday.

The Tilburg club reports that the player in question also tested positive earlier this week and has been in home isolation since then.

The staff member is now doing the same.

The club does not disclose which persons it concerns in connection with privacy.

Botafogo fires trainer who never sat on the bench

The Brazilian Botafogo has put trainer Ramón Díaz on the street without having played a match on the bench.

The 61-year-old coach was appointed at the beginning of this month, but was unable to attend the past three games for medical reasons.

He communicated remotely with his assistants, but that proved unsuccessful.

Botafogo lost all three games.

De Frisian scored no less than 763 times in 760 matches in his career.

He made by far the largest part of those goals in the service of sc Heerenveen (523).

He also played for a few more years for SC Enschede and Enschede Boys.

As an international, he was 33 times accurate in 47 duels.

Lenstra died in 1985 at the age of 64.

Heracles has to miss Hardeveld due to surgery until winter break

Jeff Hardeveld will no longer play for Heracles Almelo this calendar year.

Tour stage winner Lutsenko extends at Astana
