In football, the corona year 2020 and the empty stands have meant significantly fewer home victories than it normally will be.

Within the SHL, this trend has not been noticed as clearly.

Especially not when it comes to Djurgården.

"Very important"

While they have only lost two of nine matches at home, they have been a losing machine outside Stockholm.

Before today's match away against Frölunda, they had lost all six matches.

But today came the first victory outside the capital.

The team won today with 3-2 away against league leader Frölunda, after a fine effort.

- Of course it is very important!

You have to win both at home and away to get high up in the series, so it's nice to take that scalp, goalkeeper Mantas Armalis tells C More.

Two goals by Holtz

Another suite that was cracked that day was a speechless one for Alexander Holtz.

After eight straight goalless matches, the 18-year-old giant talent scored two goals in today's match, the first of which was a projectile straight into Niklas Rubin's cross in the first period which meant 1-0 for Djurgården.

- It was about time.

I've had a lot of situations.

I get a great pass from Kalle (Östman) and get in a dream position in the castle and was able to put it in the crosshairs.

Very nice, Holtz said during the break to C More.

"Is a goal scorer"

The second goal was also nice, especially the nice pass by William Eklund who in power play played until Holtz who waited at the first post and pushed in the puck.

- I know he will be there.

He does well to find that surface.

He is a goal scorer, says Eklund to C More.

For Frölunda, it was the first home loss of the season, and the league leaders now have two losses in three matches.

- We have good energy at the beginning of the match, for our first powerplay.

Then it's Djurgården's match, says coach Roger Rönnberg.
