The President of the UAE and Asian Federations, First Vice President of the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee for the “UAE Warriors” championship, Abdul Moneim Al-Hashemi, announced in a press conference, yesterday evening, the organization of an annual tournament in the name of the late coach Abdul-Munaf Nur Muhammadov, father of Habib Nur Muhammadov, legend of martial arts Mixed.

He pointed out that this initiative comes as an appreciation of the experience of the world champion Habib Nur Mamedov in the sport of mixed martial arts, and a celebration of the role of the late father and his late coach Abdul-Manaf.

Al-Hashemi said: “The first edition of it will be held next January 16, as a kind of appreciation for the path of this man, as a continuation of the vision, initiatives and approach of the UAE in embracing creative people everywhere in the world, as well as to emphasize the depth of relations with the world champion Habib Nur Mamedov, who is keen to attend Continuous presence by himself, and participation with a number of his academy fighters in the Emirates Warriors Championship.

For his part, Habib Nur Mammadov expressed his appreciation for the initiative, saying: "The initiatives are not new to the UAE, which I consider my second home, and certainly this initiative touched my feelings."
