World Table Tennis is a new organization that has been formed to make table tennis bigger and more commercial.

The organization's first tournament is currently taking place in Macao and Swedish Mattias Falck has reached the semifinals.

The victory in the quarterfinals was extremely impressive when he beat world number two Xin Xu 3-1 in sets.

Falck started by winning two straight sets before the Chinese were clearly better in the third and won 11-2.

But Falck gathered well again and took home the victory after 11-8 in the fourth.

This is the first time Falck, who is eight in the world rankings, wins over Xu Xin.

Tomorrow awaits a semifinal against the winner of the quarterfinals between the Chinese Chuqin Wang and the Brazilian Hugo Calderano.

Wang is twelfth in the world rankings and Calderano is sixth.

Falck has now raised 32,500 US dollars in the tournament, ie about 277,000 Swedish kronor.
