Therese Johaug and other skiers were quarantined for 24 hours after coach Eirik Myhr Nossum tested positive for covid-19 yesterday.

Earlier today, however, it turned out that Myhr Nossum's control test was negative and the Norwegian team was released from quarantine.

- It's incredibly nice.

I have been locked up for 24 hours so it was nice to get out and get fresh air, says Therese Johaug to NRK.

It was only after the answer to the control test that Norway got the go-ahead to compete in the World Cup premiere in Ruka.

For almost a day, it was uncertain whether the Norwegian riders would be allowed to compete.

- We prepared for the worst, that there would be no competitions for us.

We will have to prepare for it to be like this this winter, this is certainly not the first and last time, says Johaug.
