In mid-March, the European Football Association, Uefa, announced that the men's European Championship will be moved forward one year to the summer of 2021 due to the corona pandemic.

With a little more than six months left until the championship, the plan is of course still for the European Championships to be played as planned next year, but Anders Tegnell opens up for it to be without an audience.

- It is so far ahead that it is difficult to know but I think we will be very careful with large audiences for quite some time to come, says the state epidemiologist in SVT's Corona special.

Tegnell does not already know what kind of restrictions there may be for the summer.

- If we have landed in something next summer, I actually do not know today.

In any case, I believe that there will be restrictions on how many can participate, says Tegnell and continues:

- We can only hope that we have been able to handle it so well until we can have a certain audience, but it will probably not be as it usually is.
