The planning for the European Handball Championship has been messy.

Norway dropped out as organizer and in Denmark, among other things, Sweden's matches were moved from Fredrikshamn to Herning.

When the championship is over, Magnus Grahn thinks it will be a Russian celebration.

Who will win European Championship gold?

- Russia is the winner in this championship.

Russia is the nation that produces the most new fix stars and comes to every championship with someone new that you do not know about.

Also has the widest squad with many good players.

The final team?

- The final teams will be Russia and France.

As a nation, France is always good at Olympic years.

They have an incredible ability to dot the form these years.

Since then, France has gotten better and better every year and is now a power factor even in women's handball.

What do you say about Sweden's chances?

- Small to a top position but I still give Sweden between 10 and 15 percent chance to reach a semifinal.

A realistic goal that we reach a position between six and ten in this championship.

Swedish key players?

- Melissa Petrén and Linn Blom.

Petrén is an extremely good self-distance player and really dangerous in his own game.

Then she is very brave and sacrificial in her game.

Blom is right now perhaps the best two-way player in the world right now.

She thus masters both the attacking and defensive game at the absolute highest level.

Foreign key players?

- It is always exciting to see Ana Gros in Slovenia.

Other thoughts?

- Sweden has a nice mix of experienced and new.

It is always exciting to see new players in championships.

I am thinking of Nina Dano and Kristin Thorleifsdottir, who with a little routine will lift Sweden.
