Tottenham records a loss of £ 64 million last season

English football club Tottenham Hotspur announced today, Monday, a loss of 63.9 million pounds (71.79 million euros) last season.

The club explained that the main reasons behind these losses are the decline in television rights revenues for the English Premier League and the decline in Champions League revenues due to Tottenham's early exit from the tournament.

During the release of the financial report, Daniel Levy, President of Tottenham Hotspur, said today: "We are at the moment facing one of the most difficult periods of time that we have ever had," referring to the Corona crisis.

It is worth noting that Tottenham had made a profit of £ 68.6m in the previous season.
