The game schedule has been tough in football Europe during the autumn.

The big football leagues have matched harder than normal, and for the national football teams there were three matches per collection.

The same awaits this spring.

Then the national team will play three matches per collection, either three World Cup qualifiers or two qualifiers and one training match.

"Total madness"

This is a development that the Swedish national team's national team captain Janne Andersson does not appreciate.

- If we talk about this with three matches, we have chosen not to match all players in all three matches.

But if there are now three competitive matches per collection as it can be in the spring, then it is totally insane.

If we take Victor (Nilsson Lindelöf) as an example, he basically plays Sunday-Wednesday-Sunday-Tuesday-Saturday for any length of time, and had hardly any time off at all between the seasons before it started, Andersson said at a digital press conference during Monday, and continued:

- That not more players went on more injuries so far makes me very surprised.

And I'm also surprised that there has not been more discussion about this from a sporting and medical perspective.

It's extremely tough for these players, because it's not like they play against bad teams.

But I hope Victor can get his back in order, because it's not fun with injured players.

- So I hope that it goes with it, but I am surprised that there are not more who went on wear and tear like this.
