As part of minimizing the risks of corona falls, the Swedish cross-country national team has decided to almost halve the squad for the World Cup premiere in Ruka later this week.

But Norway does in a completely different way.

- We travel with a full squad of Ruka because we have charter flights.

You do not have control, but since you travel by charter flight and that the trip is largely the most critical, we do it that way, says national team manager Espen Bjervig to the Norwegian news site Nettavisen, but opens up that the team can come to do differently later in the season:

- We get to evaluate competition after competition about what is the right thing to do.

These are uncertain times.
