Rome legend Totti recovers from Corona virus

Retired star and former player in the ranks of the Italian soccer club Roma, Francisco Totti, announced today, Friday, that he has recovered from the emerging corona virus, which causes Covid-19 disease, after 15 days.

"With some relief, I can tell you that it is not just a walk in the park," Totti (44 years) wrote on the Instagram photo-sharing platform, stressing that he felt weak with low oxygen levels and a feeling of fever.

Totti said that when doctors told him that he had experienced double pneumonia linked to Covid-19, he felt as if it was a pounding in the heart, indicating that he was able to treat at home instead of in the hospital thanks to the rapid diagnosis.

Last month, Totti's father, Enzo, died at the age of 76 due to the Corona virus.
