Ninety Australian survives a skydiving accident after falling into the sea

A 91-year-old Australian survived an accident that he suffered while practicing parachute jumping, as he only suffered some bruises after falling into the sea, police said Monday.


And a number of residents near Warwood, to the north of Sydney, treated the man in the water around 6 pm on Sunday.


The ambulance teams that came and examined the man found that he had only suffered some scratches and bruises.


Some media outlets showed pictures of the man, whose name was not released, showing him walking on rocks with the help of paramedics, while his left leg was covered with a bandage.


The man was taken to the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney for additional tests.


The police said his parachute was found in the water.
