Justice close to the Al Thani: they order their accounts, cars and shares to be seized

The head of the Court of Instruction number 14 of Malaga, in a resolution this Monday, has agreed to seize current accounts, vehicles and shares in four companies "in order to cover the amount of

The order, of 13 pages, and to which this newspaper has had access, recalls that the investigator of the case agreed on September 9 that the one who was the main shareholder of the entity and his children,

, who were part of the board of directors, had to pay "jointly and severally" a bond of 8.5 million euros.

"All this, in order to ensure the eventual financial liabilities derived from this cause" and with the warning that "property of your property will be seized" in the case of not consigning this amount.

The judicial authority assures that "the time allowed" for them to pay the amount claimed or "have offered goods or sufficient rights with which to guarantee it" has elapsed.

Reason for the

, in which the defendants had a total of 23,658.99 euros, four vehicles -

"The judicial administrator and the agents of the National Police are empowered to, if they deem it necessary, appear at the homes -of Benalmádena and Benahavis- where the vehicles are currently deposited and [...] transfer them to the premises of the Málaga Club de Fútbol SAD entity, at the Estadio de la Rosaleda, "says the judge, who states that" there they will be deposited and guarded. "

The resolution also agrees the "prohibition to dispose, or make any encumbrance act, on the shares or shares" that the Al Thani family has in the companies Málaga Club de Fútbol SAD,

This money "never entered the club's coffers," which later "bought back" seven of these vehicles for 125,000 euros.

The magistrate reminds the defendants that any movement of these titles "must be put in contact with the judicial administrator appointed for said companies, in order, where appropriate, and if applicable, obtain subsequent judicial authorization."

"Once this resolution is notified, an expert appraisal of the seized assets will be carried out," the order states, which specifies that, "given the impossibility of personally notifying the present resolution to the defendants, since they are outside the Spanish territory, it will take place at the place set as your domicile in Spain [...] and through its procedural representation ".

This decision, in part, is justified by the difficulties that the instructor has had in the past for the Al Thani to respond to the judicial requirements.
