The mayor of a village absolves the "wedding party" of Salah's infection with Corona and cites Trezeguet

Egyptian media today quoted the mayor of Nagrig village in the Gharbia governorate of Egypt, as saying that the wedding of a brother, Liverpool's top scorer and the Egyptian national team, Mohamed Salah, is innocent of the Egyptian star being infected with the Corona virus, according to the press statement issued yesterday by the Egyptian Football Association.

Maher Shtayyeh said that Salah kept wearing the muzzle all the time during the wedding ceremony that took place a few days ago, and that the ceremony took place under precautionary measures against the Corona virus, and he said that the evidence that the ceremony did not cause Salah to be infected, since they did not record any injuries among the attendees, besides Salah's colleague in the Egyptian national team, Aston Villa's English player, Trezeguet, was present with him at the party, and the result of the swab that he underwent was negative.

The "Al-Ahram Gate" website stated that the mayor insisted that the ceremony was not the reason for Salah's injury, indicating that the player is committed to isolating himself until the second swab.

It is noteworthy that the Egyptian team will lose Salah's efforts in the two matches in Togo, in the qualifiers for the African Cup, the first of which is held today.
