Saudi Arabia receives Jamaica in a friendly meeting

The Saudi national football team is in an international friendly match on Saturday (20:30 UAE time), when the Jamaican national team hosts the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh.


This match comes within the framework of Al Akhdar's preparations for the joint Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, as it ranks second in Group D with 8 points from four matches, one point behind the Uzbekistan national team, which played more matches.


The Saudi national team entered its camp in Riyadh on Monday with the participation of 28 players, who were chosen by the Frenchman Herve Renard.


Renard is looking for a sixth victory with Saudi Arabia, as he won 5 games, drew in three, and lost in two that were in the Gulf Cup 2019.


The national attack in those matches scored 16 goals while defeating his net 10 times, and advanced with him one place in the international classification of the teams.
