Neymar renews his request to Barcelona to pay 44 million euros

The Spanish newspaper "Marca" revealed today that the star of the Brazilian national football team and French club Paris Saint-Germain, Neymar, has appealed against the court ruling requiring him to pay 6.7 million euros for his move to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017 in favor of his former club Barcelona.

On the other hand, Neymar's lawyers renewed their demand that Barcelona pay 44 million euros, a reward for renewing his contract before moving to Saint-Germain, after the latter paid the penalty clause of 222 million euros.

And Spanish media said that it is unlikely that the Supreme Court in Catalonia, Spain, will rule in his favor, especially since the legal position of the Barcelona club administration is strong, since his move to Saint-Germain directly canceled the payment of the renewal bonus in his contract, which was supposed to expire in the summer of 2021.
