Japan national team duet "Hatsune Miku" singing voice incorporated performance debut November 13 21:06

At the Japan Championships in Artistic Swimming held in Yamaguchi City, the duet of the Japanese national team performed for the first time incorporating the singing voice of the virtual idol "Hatsune Miku".

The Japan national team, led by head coach Masayo Imura, also participates in the tournament in which club teams from all over the country participate.

On the 13th, the second day of the tournament, a duet technical routine was held for two people to swim, and a pair of Japanese captain Yukiko Inui and Moe Yoshida appeared.

The performance is titled "Ninja SAKURA" and is an image of a female ninja running around a row of cherry blossom trees, and the singing voice of the virtual idol "Hatsune Miku" was incorporated to express the modern Japanese character.

The challenge for the duet is to improve the synchronism between Inui, who has experienced two Olympic Games, and Yoshida, who has little experience as a national team. Yoshida headed Imura from 5:30 in the morning after last year's world championships before breakfast. It means that you are doing basic practice with your coach one-on-one.

On the 13th, there were no major mistakes until the end, even in the small and violent movements that matched the up-tempo tune.

Yoshida said, "Hatsune Miku's voice is fine, so I want to swim so as not to lose. I want to make a performance that is unique to me and Mr. Inui."

Head coach Imura said, "There is still a difference between the two, but Yoshida is catching up. He has grown up."
