Oskarshamn has been strong lately in the SHL.

Before Thursday's round, the Smålanders had four straight victories.

But away towards Leksand it stopped.

Already after eight minutes, Leksand led 3-0 in a match that Leksand won 4-2.

It took only 31 seconds for the home team to take the lead through Peter Cehlarik, nicely served by Marek Hrivik behind the goal.

Two minutes later came 2-0 when Calle Sjölin scored the first goal of the season.

Carter Camper made it 3-0 when he was free with Joe Cannata in the away goal splitting the puck in the crossbar.

Then Oskarshamn's coach Martin Filander timed out.

"It's crap"

Oskarshamn's Filiph Engsund was not gracious in his criticism of the team's efforts in the first period.

- It's crap, it's really bad.

We're not out there.

We have to be turned on and get started, it must not look like that, says Engsund in C More.

Five minutes into the second period, Oskarshamn got a reduction through John Dahlström, but a moment later they had to play boxplay for five minutes since Brian Cooper got five minutes and a match penalty for charging.

Cooper got it after a late tackle on the head of Peter Cehlarik, something he did not agree with.

The American really angry and turned around and wrote several times in the direction of the judges.

"There is a great risk of injury"

Cehlarik got nosebleeds but was able to continue playing.

Before the third period, the judge Marcus Linde explained the assessment.

- It is above all that the tackle comes late.

There is a great risk of injury here.

The tackle is quite powerful as well, so we land in a five, says Linde in C More.

In the third period, Oskarshamn reduced to 3-2 and chased an equalizer, but instead Daniel Olsson Trkulja put the final score 4-2.
