Sarah Sjöström won her first race of the day when she was the fastest with her hand in the tile after 100m butterfly.

Sjöström won in the time 55.35, which is 74 hundredths of her world record in the distance.

Swedish Louise Hansson was third, 82 hundredths behind Sjöström who continued to win in the team race half an hour later.

Sjöström swam the final distance for his Energy Standard in the 4x100m freestyle and the 27-year-old did not have to go out to give another victory to the team.

Despite relaxed swimming, she did her distance of 52.83.

Prestige victory in the 50m freestyle  

Just 20 minutes after the finish in the team race, it was once again time to get on the starting podium for Sjöström.

Tough resistance in the 50m freestyle in the form of world record holder Ranomi Kromowidjojo from the Netherlands.

Despite two starts in the body, Sjöström still showed that strength remained.

Kromowidjojo had to settle for second place in the race after Sjöström was once again the fastest.

The victory time of 23.42 was 17 hundredths better than Kromowidjojo.

Michelle Coleman finished fifth in the distance, 86 hundredths behind Sjöström.
