The second round of the men's golf tournament in the United States was held in Texas on the 6th, with Satoshi Kodaira moving up to 21st place provisionally and Hideki Matsuyama moving up to 26th place provisionally.
Kodaira and Matsuyama both started the second round in 29th place in the even par.

Kodaira, who increased his score by one to a total of 1 under, moved up to the provisional 21st place, 6 strokes behind the lead.
On the other hand, Matsuyama had 5 birdies, 3 bogeys and 1 double bogey, and the total score was the same even par as the previous day, but he moved up slightly to 26th place provisionally.
It was Sam Berns of the United States who took the tentative lead with a total of 7 under.
