Rosengård was for a while four points ahead of Gothenburg in the table and had the grip on a third straight Swedish Championship gold.

But then came four straight games without a win and there the Malmö team lost first place.

After Gothenburg on Sunday secured the championship title through 7-0 away against Linköping, it is only to be congratulated, Rosengård's sports director Therese Sjögran admits.

- What to say?

Sickly good of Gothenburg.

But to collapse like Linköping does, it may not be so good for them, says Sjögran.

The gold battle was also decided much earlier than that.

Rosengård had the chance, but did not take it, says Sjögran.

- We only have ourselves to blame.

We had four points, then we had an October where we did not really perform as we wanted.

We have to blame ourselves.

TT: What has Gothenburg done so well?

- They have often scored early goals.

They have been stable all year really.

And these last matches they have not trembled once.
