The TT of Assen will be held next year on June 27, according to the provisional calendar that was presented on Friday.

In addition, it was announced that the DTM will also visit the circuit in Drenthe.

This year, the TT was initially scheduled for June 28, but due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the event could not take place.

It was the first time since the Second World War that the famous race in Drenthe was canceled.

The provisional MotoGP calendar includes nineteen races, to which a twentieth will be added later.

The season starts on March 28 with the Grand Prix of Qatar and ends on November 14 with a race in Valencia.

It was announced in April that the TT would move to June next year.

It is the ninetieth time that the prestigious motorcycle race will be held in Assen.

With 165,000 visitors, of which 105,000 on Sunday, the TT van Assen is one of the largest events in the Netherlands.

It is still uncertain whether there will be an audience at the event next year.
