The victory in the competition in Davidson in North Carolina means that Frida Kinhult will be among the top five in the summary on the Symetra Tour, which is the next highest professional level in the USA, and thus has to move up to LPGA games.

The 21-year-old from Fiskebäckskil kept a cool head and managed his lead from the third round.

The margin to second dropped from six to four strokes ahead of American Demi Runas, but the victory was never threatened.

Next up is the major competition US Open in Houston, which will be played on December 10-13.

There, Frida Kinhult is joined by the Swedes Pernilla Lindberg, Anna Nordqvist and Madelene Sagström, who are already qualified.

Frida Kinhult is doing her first year as a professional after a successful career in college in the USA.

Already as an amateur, she qualified for the major competitions British Open and Ana Inspiration last year.

Now, after only one season on the Symetra Tour, she has to take the step up to the top professional level, the LPGA Tour in the USA.
