"Rubin" was defeated by "SKA-Khabarovsk" in the second match of the group stage of the Russian Cup with a score of 0: 1 and finished ahead of schedule in the second most important national club tournament.

Leonid Slutsky's wards joined Rotor's company and became the second RPL representative who failed to make it into the top 16 teams of the tournament.

However, the game at the stadium in Khabarovsk was remembered not by the sensational result, but by the severe injury of Darko Yevtich.

The episode took place in the middle of the first half of the meeting.

The defenders of SKA-Khabarovsk interrupted Rubin's attack, and Roman Manuilov tried to start the offensive of his own team with the help of a long pass, but it turned out to be not entirely accurate.

Jevtich was the first on the ball and was already ready to handle it, but then Vladislav Bragin appeared on the way.

The hosts' forward in a jump knocked down the opponent, simultaneously hitting his elbow in the head of Darko.

The blow was so strong that Jevtich immediately had a serious cut on the bridge of his nose.

The medical staff of Kazan citizens appeared on the field and provided first aid to the midfielder.

But after a couple of minutes it became clear that the Swiss would not be able to continue the game.

He tried to walk to the dressing room to undergo a checkup, but suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed onto the lawn.

As a result, Darko was able to leave the field only on a stretcher, and Dmitry Tarasov came out instead.

In the shortest possible time, an examination was carried out, as a result of which Jevtich was diagnosed with a severe concussion, as well as a fracture of the nasal bone.

Kazan head coach Leonid Slutsky noted that the club did not exclude more serious injuries.

“We were afraid there might be a brain hemorrhage.

Fortunately, this did not happen, so the doctors gave him permission to fly.

He has a broken nose and a very severe concussion, "- the press service of" Rubin "quotes Slutsky.

At the same time, the head coach of Rubin was perplexed by the fact that Bragin received only a yellow card for breaking the rules at Yevtic.

Apparently, referee Pavel Shadykhanov considered the forward's actions unintentional and decided to do without removal.

In turn, Slutsky considered it unfair.

“Probably, according to the referee's version, the player had to die on the football field to deserve the removal from the opponent.

In my opinion, when a football player breaks his nose with an elbow and a person simply loses consciousness from this blow ... It was only necessary, probably, to kill for the referee to remove him.

In my opinion, this is an unambiguous red card.

I'm not trying to blame the judge for our defeat, but if we are talking about the episode with Yevtich, then there was a removal, ”Slutsky expressed his opinion.

The former RPL referee Igor Fedotov agreed with him.

The specialist expressed the opinion that Bragin deserved a direct red card for the episode with Yevtich.

“The SKA-Khabarovsk player had to be sent off for hitting Yevtich in the Russian Cup game against Rubin.

His elbow is exposed as a weapon, there is speed, and a SKA player hit the head.

If the referee did not see the whole picture, then he could draw attention to the blood as an accompanying factor, "- quotes Fedotov" Championship ".

It should be noted that a number of similar cases have been recorded recently in the Russian Championship and Cup.

Then the players also hit the opponent's face with their elbows, but either received a yellow card or avoided the penalty altogether.

Suffice it to recall the match between CSKA and Dynamo, during which Vadim Karpov received heavy injuries.

The situation was almost identical, and Vladimir Grulev was the violator of the rules.

As a result, the CSKA defender was diagnosed with a closed craniocerebral injury, concussion and a closed fracture of the nasal bones, and the rival's midfielder received a yellow card.

Grulev's teammate got off with a warning.

In the confrontation with the same "Ruby" Nikolay Komlichenko hit Oliver Abildgor with his elbow in the back of the head during a horse fight.

True, for the forward, the yellow card was the second.

However, it is especially noteworthy that during the season for a similar violation, Jevtich himself was removed.

In the game with “Akhmat”, he awkwardly waved his hand and hit his opponent in the face.

As a result - the second yellow card and premature departure from the field.

In the past season, there were two more similar episodes, and in both cases, CSKA players again appeared in the role of victims.

In the match against Sochi, Ivan Miladinovich punched Fyodor Chalov in the face, and in the game against Spartak, Roman Zobnin brushed aside Ivan Oblyakov.

At the same time, if the red-and-white midfielder received a direct red card, then the foul of the Serb remained without the judge's attention.

However, later the Control and Disciplinary Committee (CDC) intervened in the case and removed the Sochi defender for four games.

As for Slutsky, it is not the first time that Rubin's mentor has expressed dissatisfaction with the work of the judges during this season.

So, the first round meeting with Lokomotiv ended with a loud scandal.

Then the referee Sergei Ivanov at first did not put a penalty against the Muscovites for breaking the rules on Ivan Ignatiev, and during the break he showed the red card to the mentor himself.

Subsequently, the specialist's behavior was reviewed by the FTC, and the suspension was extended for two more games.
