Maradona had two heart attacks in 2000 and 2004

Finally, Dr. Luque calmed the concerns by delivering an optimistic account of his intervention: “

The evolution takes its course without any complications.

He is conscious.

His postoperative condition is excellent.

 The doctor added: "

There are no after-effects.

This is not the first time that the state of health of the current coach of the club of Gimnasia La Plata has raised concerns.

Dependent on cocaine for a long part of his life, the Argentinian had a heart attack following an overdose in 2000. Becoming obese, Diego Maradona had almost succumbed to a new and serious heart attack in 2004. He was then suffered a stomach operation that allowed him to lose weight and regain better health.

However, this remains fragile.

After the hospitalization on November 2, Rocio Oliva, Maradona's ex-partner, revealed to an Argentinian radio station that he has an alcohol addiction problem.
