Earlier this week, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 39, posted a picture on social media and immediately spun the blue-yellow carousel again.

The picture represented "Ibra" in the national team jersey next to the text "Long time no see" - but it was no surprise that he was missing in today's selected squad.

SVT Sports expert Daniel Nannskog is reasoning about a closed door - and a potential comeback.

- It has probably almost never been relevant since he left.

Even though he is a really brilliant player, he has said that he has left the national team.

The day he says outright that he wants to play again, it will be an interesting question.

"A monster"

Nannskog does not deny that Ibrahimovic's achievements in Milan have been excellent.

- The one he has shown in Italy is incredible.

There are no words for it anymore.

He has raised a rather mediocre Milan to become a machine.

He's a monster.

It tickles to see him in the national team again, but he has stopped and not said he wants to return.

Should a possible first step be taken by Zlatan, or should Janne call and ask if he is interested in a comeback?

- I think it must come from Zlatan first and that the only thing Janne relates to is that Zlatan said he stopped.

This is how Janne works, that then is then and now is now.

If someone has said that they have stopped, I do not think he is the coach who is trying to persuade, he says and continues:

- In that case, he wants Zlatan to make contact himself and says that he wants to join again.

Then I think it will be a completely different discussion and not impossible for Janne to take back Zlatan.

For me, however, it feels, just like Janne says, that it is a closed chapter.
