An event was held to discover the next generation of para-athletes who will be responsible for the Tokyo Paralympics, and people with various disabilities measured their physical fitness and searched for a competition that suits them.

At the excavation event held in Yokohama on the 3rd, more than 20 people, mainly teenagers, with limb disorders, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disabilities gathered.



Participants worked on 10 types of physical fitness tests such as standing long jump, ball throwing, and 30-meter running, while the staff of 14 competition groups who determine the suitability of the competition watched over.



Regarding parasports, finding the next generation of athletes who will be responsible for the next year's Tokyo Paralympics is an issue, and competition groups will continue to hold such events nationwide, and young people who are in each competition such as land and wheelchair basketball. A 17-year-old man with cerebral palsy said, "I found out that I could do things I had never done before, such as throwing a ball other than wheelchair.
