The former world star, World Cup gold medalist in 1986, celebrates his birthday in quarantine.
In an open letter written at home in Argentina, Maradona publishes his wish list.
"I want this deadly pandemic to end," Maradona wrote.
The 60-year-old, who is now the coach of the Argentine league team Gimnasia de La Plata, is carefully protected from the corona virus, and was quarantined after one of his bodyguards became infected with the virus.
In early October, he appeared during a league match in a full-covering mask made of plexiglass.
Italian Napoli, the team Maradona is most associated with, have not won a league title since the Argentine was there and won.
"I would like Napoli to win a Scudetto (Italian league title) soon," Maradona wrote.
During his time in Naples, he took Napoli to the club's only two league titles so far, 1987 and 1990. But another title for the southern Italian team is not the only thing Maradona wants.

"I also want to score another goal against England, this time with my right hand."
In the World Cup quarter-final against England in 1986, Maradona scored with his hand, a goal that meant 1-0 for Argentina.
The goal has later become known as "God's hand".
