Brynäs took a narrow victory against Modo

Brynäs continues to emerge as a steamroller in the SDHL.

In 13 rounds, the team has only lost one match.

However, Modo put pressure on the league leaders and eventually fell "only" with one goal.

Lara Stalder and Josefin Bouveng made sure that Brynäs had 2-0 with just under four minutes left of the middle period.

But then Modo reduced through Daniela Pejsova just 16 seconds after Brynäs 2-0 goal.

Modo also then had a golden opportunity to equalize when they received a penalty kick with less than two minutes left of the period.

But Brynäs goalkeeper Ellen Jonsson stepped forward and saved Mariam El-Mahmadi's penalty kick.

In the third period, Brynäs was able to hold off to victory.

Modo took out the goalkeeper in the end, but did not manage to create any hot chances in front of Ellen Jonsson.
