Felix Rosenqvist, who this year took Sweden's first Indycar victory since Kenny Bräck in 2002, changes stable.

Today came the confirmation of what it has been rumored for a while: He changes from Chip Ganassi Racing to Arrow McLaren SP.

- I am very expectant for the next phase of my career together with Arrow McLaren SP.

It is an expansive team with great ambitions, and I look forward to driving that process forward together with Pato (O'Ward, fourth in the championship this year), he says in a press release.

"Will help us"

Arrow McLarsen is a hard-working team, which finished second in the season finale last weekend.

- We have followed Felix since he came here for Indy Lights 2016 and have been constantly impressed by his speed over the past two years.

We think that Felix and Pato complement each other well, and believe that together they will help us on our journey forward as a team in the future, says Sam Schmidt, co-owner of Arrow McLaren SP.

With Rosenqvist's contract with McLaren, there will also be two Swedes in Indycar next year.

Yesterday, Chip Ganassi Racing announced that they have signed a new contract with Marcus Ericsson.
